Cannington Interchange

Cannington train station/bus interchange may not have deliberately been designed as a hellhole, but, deliberate or not, that's the effect that's achieved. Everything is concrete and steel, in various combinations, and thanks to the colourblind contribution of various painters, various hues. Add to this the fact that since the original paint job it seems to have been left untouched by the hands of either painters or cleaners and has therefore acquired a layer of dirt, grunge, and grime, as well as the usual cigarette butts, chewing gum and graffiti, as well as the careful christening of some of the corners by the drunken element, and the overall effect is, as previously mentioned, that of a hellholle.

What's even more galling is that it's an award-winning hellholle.
